CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT AT THE PEOPLES BANK
The
Peoples Bank has Certificates of Deposit with various terms available. Although
rates are not tied directly to the Prime Rate, we offer competitive returns that
may fluctuate dependent upon the actions of the
Federal Reserve board. However, at the time of deposit the current rate of
return is locked in for the term of the Certificate.
Current certificate lengths include:
3 months
6 months
12 months
18 months
24 months
30 months
48 months
60 months
You have the option for auto-renewal if you would like. You may also arrange to have interest credited to another Peoples Bank account, credited to your Certificate, or mailed to you. Early withdrawal penalties apply if you must withdraw the funds prior to the scheduled maturity date.
